The Greater Israel Project

Updated: Apr 10, 2022

Stone Cold Justice is an Australian documentary on Israeli torture of Palestinian minors and features footage of one of the founders of the Israeli settler movement, Daniella Weiss. At the 39:35 mark she states that in the 1970s she worked alongside the then Israeli Minister of Agriculture Ariel Sharon and discusses their strategic plan to build settlements so as to preclude any chance of a future Palestinian state.

It is instructive to note that Sharon went on to become the Prime Minister of Israel from 2001 to 2006, and that if this was the Israeli plan since the 1970s, then Israel was less than honest in negotiating the Oslo Accords of 1993 which specifically call for a "two-state" solution.

An article on Ms Weiss by Bradley Burston published by haaretz.com has the subheading "A visit to a settlement leader whose vision of Israel’s future borders includes parts of Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon and even Iran."

Her expansionist plans eerily mirror those articulated in "The Greater Israel Project".
In a February 1982 article titled "A Strategy for Israel in the 1980s" published by the now defunct Hebrew-language journal Kivunim Oded Yinon, an adviser to Sharon and a reporter for the Jerusalem Post, lays out plans to foment sectarian strife throughout the Middle East with the aim of fragmenting Arab states, in what has since come to be known as the "Yinon Plan" and the "Greater Israel Project". The article was also published by the World Zionist Organization's Department of Information in Jerusalem.

Skeptics may dismiss the above evidence as inconclusive in claiming that the wars that America has fought since 9/11 have been at the behest of Israel. However, the missing link comes from a 2007 interview by Democracy Now with US Army General Wesley Clark: at the 13:22 mark he says he was presented with classified information only weeks after 9/11 that America's objective was to take out seven countries within five years, namely Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and finally Iran. Coincidentally, four of these countries were also mentioned as potential targets by settler leader Weiss.

While it is politically taboo at present to question the extent of Israeli influence over Washington and President Trump is working overtime to shield Israel from any calls for accountability for its gross human rights violations and war crimes against Palestinians, it is nonetheless imperative for the American public to be informed of these events so they can put all the pieces of the puzzle together for themselves.
